UGC NET Exam एक national-level Computer-Based Test है जो NTA, University Grants Commission की तरफ से conduct करता है। इस exam को pass करने पर Assistant Professor बनने की eligibility और Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) मिलती है। Exam साल में 2 बार होता है: June session और December session। कुल 150 questions, 300 marks और कोई negative marking नहीं।

UGC NET Exam Eligibility: कौन Apply कर सकता है

UGC NET Exam के लिए UGC-recognised university से कम से कम 55% marks के साथ Postgraduate degree होनी चाहिए। SC, ST, OBC Non-Creamy Layer, PwBD और EWS candidates को 5% relaxation मिलती है, यानी उनके लिए minimum 50% marks काफी हैं।

Educational Qualification

जो students Master’s final semester में हैं या result का इंतजार कर रहे हैं, वे भी UGC NET exam दे सकते हैं। लेकिन NET result declare होने के 2 साल के अंदर उन्हें degree complete करनी होगी। 4-year या 8-semester Bachelor’s degree वाले जिनके aggregate में 75% या उससे ज्यादा marks हैं, वे भी eligible हैं।

UGC NET Age Limit

Assistant Professor eligibility के लिए कोई upper age limit नहीं है। JRF के लिए maximum age 30 साल है। SC, ST, OBC, PwBD candidates को government rules के हिसाब से age relaxation मिलती है।

UGC NET attempts की कोई limit नहीं है। Assistant Professor eligibility के लिए जब तक चाहें, attempt दे सकते हैं।

UGC NET Exam Pattern: Paper 1 और Paper 2

विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग UGC NET exam में 2 papers होते हैं जो एक ही 3-hour session में बिना किसी break के complete करने होते हैं। Paper 1 सभी candidates के लिए same होता है। Paper 2 candidate के chosen subject पर based होता है।

Negative marking न होने के कारण सभी 150 questions attempt करना फायदेमंद है। गलत answer से कोई marks नहीं कटते। 3 hours में दोनों papers का time management ही UGC NET में success की सबसे बड़ी key है।

UGC NET Paper 1 Syllabus: 10 Units की जानकारी

Paper 1 में teaching aptitude, research aptitude, reasoning, data interpretation, ICT, environment और higher education system जैसे 10 units होते हैं। हर unit से 5 questions आते हैं और weightage equal होती है।

Paper 1 को बहुत candidates ignore करते हैं। Paper 1 में 80 या उससे ज्यादा score करने वाले candidates JRF band तक पहुँचने की ज्यादा probability रखते हैं क्योंकि यह 300 में से 100 marks का होता है।

UGC NET Paper 2: 87 Subjects की List

UGC NET application form भरते समय 87 available subjects में से 1 subject choose करना होता है। Subject postgraduate degree के discipline से match करना चाहिए। Submit करने के बाद subject change नहीं होता।

UGC NET Qualification के 3 Outcomes

UGC NET का एक result 3 अलग outcomes दे सकता है जो candidate के aggregate marks और subject-wise cutoff पर depend करते हैं। NTA ने यह 3-tier system लागू किया है।

यूजीसी NET में exam देने वाले सिर्फ लगभग 6% candidates qualify होते हैं। JRF उस 6% में से भी एक छोटे हिस्से को मिलती है। Category 3 से नीचे रहने पर candidates fail माने जाते हैं और अगले session में attempt देना होता है।

UGC NET Application Process: Apply कैसे करें

UGC NET के लिए apply करना पूरी तरह online होता है, ugcnet.nta.ac.in पर NTA notification release होने के बाद। June और December दोनों sessions के लिए same process follow होती है।

2. Valid mobile number और email ID से registration करके login credentials बनाएं।
3. Personal details, educational qualifications, postgraduate subject और preferred exam city भरें।
4. Passport-size photo, signature और educational certificates prescribed format में upload करें।
5. Application fee Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking या UPI से pay करें।
6. Form submit करें और application number वाला confirmation page save करें।

Application close होने के बाद NTA एक correction window open करता है जिसमें form में गलतियाँ ठीक की जा सकती हैं। Paper 2 का subject एक बार submit होने के बाद change नहीं होता, इसलिए submit से पहले subject carefully confirm करें।

UGC NET Cutoff: Qualifying Marks कैसे तय होते हैं

UGC NET cutoff 2 levels पर काम करता है: एक minimum qualifying threshold और एक subject-wise merit-based cutoff। केवल minimum threshold पार करना qualify होने की guarantee नहीं है।

Minimum Qualifying Marks

• General और EWS candidates: Paper 1 और Paper 2 combined में 40% aggregate
• SC, ST, OBC और PwBD candidates: Paper 1 और Paper 2 combined में 35% aggregate

Popular subjects जैसे Political Science, Education, Hindi और English में ज्यादा candidates होने की वजह से cutoff higher रहती है। General category candidates के लिए expected cutoff range 160 से 216 marks (300 में से) होती है, जो subject के हिसाब से vary करती है। Final cutoff NTA result declare होने के बाद announce करता है।

UGC NET Salary और JRF Stipend: पूरी जानकारी

UGC NET pass करने के बाद Assistant Professor की basic pay Rs. 57,700 होती है जो 7th Pay Commission के Pay Level 10 के अंतर्गत है। Total in-hand salary institution type, city और allowances के हिसाब से Rs. 45,000 से Rs. 1,50,000 तक होती है।

UGC NET Admit Card और Exam Day Documents

NTA UGC NET admit card या e-admit card exam date से लगभग 10 से 15 दिन पहले ugcnet.nta.ac.in पर release करता है। Admit card से पहले city intimation slip आती है जिसमें exam city और tentative shift timing होती है।

UGC NET Preparation Strategy: क्या और कैसे पढ़ें

Paper 1 की तैयारी कैसे करें

Paper 1 का syllabus fixed रहता है इसलिए एक बार तैयार करके हर 10 से 14 दिन में revise करें। Data interpretation, logical reasoning और reading comprehension daily practice से improve होते हैं। रोज 25 से 30 Paper 1 questions attempt करने से speed और accuracy दोनों बढ़ती हैं।

UGC NET Paper 2 की तैयारी कैसे करें

ugcnet.nta.ac.in से अपने chosen subject का official syllabus download करें और standard postgraduate textbooks से सभी topics map करें। पिछले 5 से 7 sessions के previous year question papers से पता चलता है कि कौन से topics बार-बार आते हैं। Political Science, Education और Commerce जैसे subjects में 30 से 40% questions previous papers से repeat होते हैं।

Mock Test Schedule
