Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) Andhra Pradesh के government और private aided colleges में Assistant Professor बनने के लिए mandatory eligibility certificate है। यह exam Andhra University, Visakhapatnam द्वारा Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) की तरफ से annually conduct होता है।
- APSET qualify करने पर Andhra Pradesh के state government colleges में Assistant Professor के लिए eligible हो जाते हैं
- APSET certificate validity lifetime है, इसे renew नहीं करना होता
- कोई age limit नहीं है, कोई भी qualified candidate apply कर सकता है
- APSET में कोई JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) नहीं मिलती, यह सिर्फ Assistant Professor eligibility देता है

AP SET Qualifying Marks: कितने Marks पर Pass होते हैं
APSET qualify करने के लिए Paper I और Paper II दोनों में अलग-अलग minimum qualifying marks लाने होते हैं। सिर्फ total marks नहीं, दोनों papers में separately qualify करना ज़रूरी है।

Mock Test में General category candidates को Paper I में 55 से ऊपर और Paper II में 130 से ऊपर target करें। Qualifying marks पार करने से सिर्फ eligibility certificate मिलता है। College में appointment merit-based होती है, इसलिए ज़्यादा score ज़्यादा selection probability देता है।

Paper I सभी 30+ subjects के candidates के लिए common है और Teaching और Research Aptitude test करता है। 10 sections में से हर section में 5 questions आते हैं। Paper I में 60 minutes में 50 questions solve करने होते हैं।

Paper I Mock Test Strategy: 60 Minutes में 50 Questions
- प्रत्येक section में सिर्फ 5 questions हैं, इसलिए एक section पर 6 से 7 minutes से ज़्यादा न दें
- Reading Comprehension passage पहले questions पढ़ें, फिर passage scan करें, पूरा passage पहले पढ़ना time बर्बाद करता है
- No negative marking होने से कोई भी question blank मत छोड़ें, सभी 50 attempt करें

Paper II Mock Test की Key Strategy
- 120 minutes में 100 questions यानी 72 seconds per question का average रखें

APSET certificate से college में appointment merit-based होती है, इसलिए सिर्फ qualifying marks से संतुष्ट न हों। ज़्यादा score ज़्यादा chances देता है। Mock Test में लगातार 185 से ऊपर score आने पर real exam की अच्छी तैयारी हो गई है।
No Negative Marking का फायदा कैसे उठाएं
APSET में कोई negative marking नहीं है इसलिए exam strategy UGC NET से बिल्कुल अलग होती है।
- कोई भी question blank मत छोड़ें, सभी 150 questions ज़रूर attempt करें
- Time बचने पर uncertain questions में educated guess करें क्योंकि blank और गलत दोनों पर 0 marks हैं
- Elimination method use करें: 4 options में से 2 eliminate करें, बचे 2 में से guess करें

AP SET Mock Test: अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले Questions
AP SET Mock Test में कुल 150 questions होते हैं जो 300 marks के लिए 3 घंटे में solve करने होते हैं। Paper I में 50 questions (100 marks, 60 minutes) Teaching and Research Aptitude के और Paper II में 100 questions (200 marks, 120 minutes) chosen subject के होते हैं।
नहीं, APSET में कोई negative marking नहीं है। गलत answer पर marks नहीं कटते और blank छोड़ने पर भी कोई penalty नहीं है। इसलिए सभी 150 questions attempt करें, कोई भी blank मत छोड़ें।
General category candidates को Paper I में minimum 40 marks (100 में से) और Paper II में minimum 80 marks (200 में से) चाहिए। BC/SC/ST/PwD candidates को Paper I में 35 और Paper II में 70 marks minimum चाहिए। दोनों papers में अलग-अलग qualifying marks mandatory हैं।
APSET certificate lifetime valid है, इसे renew नहीं करना होता। एक बार qualify होने के बाद Andhra Pradesh के government और aided colleges में Assistant Professor के लिए life-time eligible रहते हैं। UGC NET certificate भी lifetime valid है।
Andhra Pradesh में teaching career के लिए APSET और UGC NET दोनों साथ-साथ prepare करें क्योंकि Paper I का syllabus 90% same है। UGC NET national level पर valid है और JRF scholarship भी देता है। APSET सिर्फ AP colleges के लिए valid है। UGC NET qualify होने पर APSET की जरूरत नहीं रहती लेकिन APSET qualify होने पर AP colleges में directly apply कर सकते हैं।
