IELTS Exam Pattern: 4 Sections की पूरी जानकारी

IELTS exam का कुल duration 2 घंटे 45 मिनट होता है। Speaking test उसी दिन या अलग दिन schedule हो सकता है।

Listening Section

Listening section में 40 questions होते हैं और इसके लिए 30 मिनट recording time और 10 मिनट answer transfer time मिलता है।

Section 1: दो लोगों के बीच everyday social conversation जैसे hotel booking, appointment scheduling
Section 2: एक व्यक्ति का monologue जैसे community event की जानकारी
Section 3: Educational या training context में 2 से 4 लोगों की discussion
Section 4: Academic lecture या university talk

प्रत्येक recording केवल एक बार play होती है। British, Australian, American और Canadian accents सुनने को मिल सकते हैं। Spelling गलत होने पर marks नहीं मिलते।

Reading Section

रीडिंग section में 40 questions होते हैं और 60 मिनट का समय मिलता है। Academic और General Training में content अलग होता है।

Writing Section

Speaking Section

Speaking section एक face-to-face interview होता है जो 11 से 14 मिनट तक चलता है। एक trained examiner interview conduct करता है।

Part 2 (3 से 4 मिनट): एक cue card topic पर 1 मिनट preparation के बाद 2 मिनट का monologue

IELTS Band Score System: 1 से 9 तक

आईईएलटीएस का result band score के रूप में दिया जाता है। चारों sections का average लेकर overall band score calculate होता है। Overall band score 0.5 increments में report होता है जैसे 6.0, 6.5, 7.0।
