JEE Main registration पूरी तरह online है, केवल jeemain.nta.nic.in पर होती है।
Registration Steps
- Step 1: jeemain.nta.nic.in पर नया account create करें, email और mobile number verify करें।
- Step 2: Personal details, academic qualification, category, और disability information fill करें।
- Step 3: Passport size photo (10KB से 200KB, JPEG format) और signature (4KB से 30KB) upload करें।
- Step 4: Exam center preference में 4 cities चुनें preferred order में।
- Step 5: Application fee pay करें, confirmation page save और print करें।

- एक session में एक ही application submit होती है।

JEE Main eligibility Class 12 subject combination और marks पर based है।

- Numerical questions में integer value type करनी होती है, negative marking बिल्कुल नहीं।

JEE Main Normalization Process: Percentile Score Kaise Banta Hai
JEE Main result raw marks में नहीं, percentile score में आता है। यह समझना बहुत जरूरी है।
- NTA अलग-अलग shifts में अलग difficulty level के papers देता है, इसलिए raw marks directly compare नहीं होते।
- Normalization formula: Percentile = (Number of candidates who scored equal to or less than you ÷ Total candidates) × 100
- Session 1 और Session 2 के percentile scores अलग-अलग calculate होते हैं।
- Final merit के लिए NTA दोनों में से best percentile लेता है, raw marks नहीं।
- इसीलिए 200 marks लाने वाले का percentile session की difficulty और total candidates पर depend करता है।

State Quota vs Other State Quota: Important Difference
- हर NIT में 50% seats state quota के लिए होती हैं जहाँ वह NIT located है।
- Home State (HS) cutoff Other State (OS) cutoff से 3 से 7 percentile points कम होती है।
- Example: NIT Trichy CSE में OS cutoff 99.91, लेकिन HS (Tamil Nadu candidates) cutoff 99.65 है।

- Numerical questions ignore करना: 15 numericals में negative marking नहीं है, यह safe high-scoring zone है।

JEE Main Exam FAQs
Class 12 passing year से 3 consecutive years में दोनों sessions मिलाकर maximum 6 attempts मिलते हैं। NTA सभी attempts में से best percentile final merit के लिए use करता है।
