Fitment factor वह multiplier है जो current 7th CPC basic pay पर apply होकर new revised basic pay calculate करता है। 8th Pay Commission expected fitment factor अभी officially announce नहीं हुआ। Formula सीधा है:

Revised Basic Pay = Current 7th CPC Basic Pay × Fitment Factor

8th Pay Commission DA Merger और Salary Impact

Government ने clearly कहा है कि 8th Pay Commission DA merger का कोई proposal currently under consideration नहीं है। Central government salary revision में DA को basic में merge करने की officially कोई plan नहीं है।

जो actually होगा वह यह है:

  • Fitment factor current 7th CPC basic pay पर apply होगा
  • New basic pay establish होने के बाद DA 0% पर reset होगी
  • DA फिर से नई basic pay पर CPI-IW के आधार पर हर 6 months में revise होती रहेगी
